There was a series pitched to AMC about Sally Draper growing up in disco era late 70's in Manhattan..It had gotten the green light for a pilot but Mathew Weiner declined at the last minute..

Man, I don't need to see how fukked up Sally's life ends up being after watching 7 seasons about how fukked up her childhood was :mjcry: :mjcry:

i am glad they wont do that one. unless they give her an interesting thing to do other than dance to disco music, that would be too shallow a premise.

I did want to see a spin off with Dawn (his Black secretary) trying to climb the corporate ladder as a Black female in the 70's/80's...I think if it was cast properly there was some good sh1t there.. Harlem in the 70's has so many untold stories..
dawn is not ambitious, she even had this discussion with peggy. she has no interest in that corporate drama.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
nah man....

my money is on the series ending with don having NOTHING

no main b*tch

no side b*tch

no money

no company

all alone and empty by himself

watch
creator already said he told the ending to a few people... they all said it was a clusterfukk... he admits that it is... but he's still gonna go through with it

please don't ruin one of the greatest shows of all time with such a shytty ending... please don't do it.. we been getting good to great conclusions lately... lets not go back to senfield/sopranos/lost endings with this shyt

:blessed:

Roger on fine form with the one liners, had me dying with the secretaries and the shyt with Megan's mum :dead:

The dialogue in this show is mindblowing. It's so smart and purposeful. Pete on about "what if you never get past the beginning" when talking to Don :banderas:

Lift scenes in this show :pachaha: Sylvia :ohlawd: Arnold was hitting Don with that potent ether.

It was a good episode, but it was just very somber and dark so it was a hard episode to enjoy.

This episode FELT like the end is coming. You can feel Dons walls falling down.

I can't see any ending for Don that isnt tragic.
