Mathis is a fukking moron :mjlol: Didn't get anything about what Don told him and then goes on to blame him for his stupidity.

It has to hurt Don anyway though. He didn't want to crap all over Peggy's goals but once again he can't empathize for shyt. And then refuses to give Mathis the 411 on how to handle himself because it's "obvious" to someone like Draper. Both situations end up with Don being the bad guy without him even thinking that was a possibility.

fukky Sally brehs :mjcry: I swear Weiner has something against that character. I hope she ends up figuring shyt out after all the stuff she's had to go through with her fukked up parents. Has to stand there while her childhood crush/long time friend hits on her MILF mom and has to sit there as her dad flirts with her 17 year old friend  she deserves better.

Couldn't give a fukk about Joan finding her man or not finding anyone. Either finally make her and Roger a couple or close that chapter for good and move the fukk on :camby:

Don out here staring into the great unknown trying to figure out what it's all about.

Kinda ties into the moon landing in the last episode of last season :ohhh:

He's still lost as fukk. I thought this episode was gonna end with Don's "future" speech for Roger but we still gotta wait on that :mjcry:

I hope the whole "endless opportunity/imagine the possibilities" theme of this ep. is the begging of Don's comeback.

We already had two dudes who had everything to start again with a life they wanted and preferred to go back normal (Ken and Joan's dude). I hope Weiner doesn't make Don join them.

'gettysbury type speech', 'you want to me to get my barber in here?' Roger was great as usual…..

'This place feels like someone sad lives here', which we can see is true from t he opening shots of patio furniture sloppily arranged in front of the tv, and Don obviously drunk and alone, in a vacant penthouse. And then coming in with a beer to Rogers office….

Like Sepinwall mentioned, it's a little troubling that Joans new love interest was yelling at her within minutes of a civil conversation…good luck with that, but I don't give a fukk about her character arc anyway.

The way that dinner scene was shot was so 70's, sleazy and dimly lit, and Don acting like the ultimate sleaze bag, hitting on a 17 year old in front Sally and her friends…..

'Anyone that pays attention to either of you….you just ooze from everywhere' & 'You have no character….you're just handsome', Don got some not entirely true, but brutal lines this episode, I think Jim Cutler was the only one to hit him harder in recent episodes….Sallys one line analysis is great, and it ties the Betty/Don parallels together in such a simple and clear way….I forget they are so similar, whether at their worst or best. It's indefensible and unconscionable for Sally to contemplate sleeping with a fukking 18 year old boy, who she watched grow up, and is her daughters best friend. But, thats Betty, a selfish, egomaniac.

'It's up to you to be more then that'

I didn't get the feeling that Don was trying to be inappropriate with the girl. She was on his dikk but he was just laughing her off. Don fukks bad grown women all the time, he doesn't need to get his R. Kelly on

Betty definitely woulda gave Glenn the p*ssy though. When he asked why not, she didn't say it's cause you're 18 or you're my daughter's friend, she said it was because she's married
