Roger's swag stache on a billion trillion.

Anyone else halfway think this ep was a dream sequence the whole time? shyt was odd.

I got the a little of that too, especially Don's scenes. Everything seemed like a dream for him. I definitely thought the cafe/diner scene with Don and Roger was a dream, the moustache :mjlol:

We're officially back brehs:wow:

Draper Season has returned and is running wild :smugdraper: spreading legs like Topaz :banderas:

That McCann :pacspit: meeting must've brought back all types of memories for Joan. That lift ether was brutal tho :dead:

I can't remember Rachel at all, a little too far back for me.

Amazing start to this last stretch, going for the GOAT title.

A grip of them do look alike.

Rachel
Midge
The waitress from last night
The next door neighbour reminded me of an older Megan
Betty even dyed her hair black after they'd got divorced

Probably a couple more in there too
Don't forget the teacher..the one who got caught in the Fappening ( :banderas: )

Betty (when she was blonde) was the exception because she was part of Don trying to hide who he really was. Trying to live the 'merican dream of the post war era - blonde wife, family man, house in the suburbs..
The brown haired hoes were him exercising his secret, true self. Which is why he ran to Megan when Faye was encouraging him to let his secret out and be free

The woman on the airplane in the first half of this season too, the one whos husband had died and she invited Don to hers but he didn't go.

Anna was blonde too :ohhh: she was the prototype Betty, I guess.

That's why I fux with the Coli TV threads. I'm pretty good at reading the non-verbal cues and easter eggs in movies and TV, but you guys always bring some extra food for thought to the table. :salute:

I must be getting old but I love the slow, adult mood of this show. Just letting characters and scenes breathe... Have me sitting back and just watching in awe...

I'm not ready to let this one go brehs :mjcry:
Sopranos and MM are the only shows that I felt like they didn't have a character explain what's going on in an un natural way. In real life, someone's feelings or intentions might be revealed by only a quick look in their eye, or they might not say anything at all and then you realize why they did something fukked up way after the fact. No villain in real life does a Dr Evil move and explain to you their reasoning and plans

Add Breaking Bad to the list. Outside the exposition for the science stuff, some of my favourite non-verbal scenes with Cranston are the ones where you see him switching between Walt and Heisenberg by doing something as subtle as lowering his eyebrows. In the scene where Jane is choking for example, you can lowkey see the change right there in his face.

I had to put this show down after season 2 as I realised I was too young.

Came back to it last year and marathoned to catch up before the last season

I'm mature now :mjcry:

This show sits at 3 behind The Wire and The Sopranos for me personally but I think I'll be revisiting that order if this half season is as good as this first episode. It took me all of 5 minutes to realise how much I love this show whilst watching this episode.

A niqqa went and grabbed a glass and poured some rum before watching the show yesterday. :heh:

Either way....last night's show clearly established that Don is back to screwing what bad bytch that comes to him Don. I knew Rachel was still the broad he truly dug the most. You can tell he was all for her because she was the only one who could see through Don Draper and find Richard Whitman without him admitting to her his true identity.

I loved how they opened the show off with him working that broad with the fur...only to find that it was a screening. Even there, Don was set off away from the rest of the men seated at the casting...the alpha male at working these broads. :wow:

I'm gonna miss this show...
