Pete finally learned from trying to blackmail people like Don or Bob. He knows he'll never win that battle. Bob is a lot like Don in that he's trying to move up the ladder anyway he can.

To be fair, this was the first time in a long time he used a client meeting to drop some powerful crud. He was completely right to nip that Teddy and Peggy thing in the bud but the execution was so god-damn ruthless. Taking Peggy's name off that work was an ether in itself too.

Aside from that, Betty is looking fukking incredible.

And Don is cold blooded, maybe the best episode of the season. Can't wait for the finale.

I think Don actually had good intentions, but it came out wrong because he subconsciously wants Peg to look up to him.

Dude peeped Bob Benson's schemes from the start. And I think even Don at one point sensed the fraudulence subliminally and gave him the "Get from round me" early.

Don's scumbaggery this season is top notch

What makes it better is the fact that he was completely justified. Ted was ignoring the fukk out of everyone else to favor Peggy. Had Stan or anyone else come up with that St Jude's ad with that budget, they would've got tossed with the quickness.

The added ruthlessness of crediting a dead man with the idea after hearing that Peggy was gunning for that Clio............gotdamn

It's interesting to see how the audience is being trolled like shyt with Bob. This dude is nearly a mirror image of Don, but gets absolutely no slack for his shyt. Sometimes, I'm convinced that the semi audience loathing that Weiner seems to have inherited from Chase is a good thing, just because of how good he is at trolling.
