There is some symbolism in Don's affair ending and Bobby Kennedy getting killed and Ted saying something about Bobby representing Hope (I believe), and/or some other stuff, but I'll just await someone else's great analysis on this episode.

Don was trying to control Ted and Sylvia. It was a parallel power play, trying to control things on his terms in new situations. In the end he lost both games

At the first, Don was with :smugdraper: with his game on then he got dumped and was like :to: "Please"

Ted putting Don off his game in the airplane, Don was like :lupe: :merchant:

:russ: Roger firing Bert Petersen again

Don was like :childplease: "Peggy, he's a grown man"
Peggy was like :comeon: "So are you. Move Forward"
Don was like :dwillhuh: and in his deep inside was like :wow:

Pete caught many L in episodes and he's having a Mother's Day. :russ: His mom knew it was May, but he tried to use her dementia to make her think it was St. Patrick's Day. Pete really does seem to be losing everything

Damn, Don was feeling himself too much and was left with absolutely nothing. Back to square one, Honolulu trip included :wow:

I don't know about you guys, but Don has been bytch made this entire season. This ep showed it.

-Intimidated by Ted. The plane scene sealed it for me. Did this mu fukka bring a romance novel to read? :what:

-Being a simp for that chick. At first I thought it was a way to get her to leave before she got more clingy, but then he did that ol simp ass shyt. :stopitslime:

I really thought, and maybe it'll change, Don and Ted would be a dynamic duo. Ted the micro and Don the macro. That scene where they were in the office discussing fake butter really put it in perspective.

Looks like that new dude gonna get at Joan. :shaq:

Pete with the mother to hell line on mother's day, no less. :dead:
