Sometimes, when you're flying, you think you're rightside up, but you're really upside down.

Ted spitting that knowledge. :favre:

Continuing with the Heat parallel I had last week, Ted is :gladbron: coming to Don's team, after a while people gonna realize how :flabbyandsick: Don is and start gravitating towards Ted.

Don was walking around with the :smugdraper: after getting Ted drunk but Ted had dude with the :merchant: and giving up the lead role in the talks with Mohawk.

Don is just miserable. Even when they make it out of the clouds and into the beautiful sun, Don rather read some dramatic novel.

Any thoughts on Dawn not being there every time Don went to his office? Peggy said she talked to her about Don being absent from the meeting so she was at work, jus missing when Don walked by.

Such a dope fukking episode. Especially the haunting music playing as Megan's voice fades out, nice little touch.

Looks like that new dude gonna get at Joan. :shaq:

I've been waiting a minute for his character to have some actual relevance. I hope this is it. Man's a good dude :ehh:

Despite Don moving like a straight up G for 35minutes in this episode he really caught some heavy L's here. Peggy styled on him. Ted styled on him. Sylvia styled on him. Saw it in this thread before, dude is miserable.

nikka really said "please" :what:

This nikka Pete thoguh :russ: Can't buy a W to save his life. I can sense him winning in the end though. I don't really know why I just can.

Every single episode getting better than the last. I thought this shyt would peak at Season 5 brehs.

We're not worthy :to:

I really don't think Don was simping Sylvia at all. It may of came off like that but I think he reacted the way he did because he wasn't in control of the situation anymore. She took the control out of Don's hands and Don can't handle that. He reacted the way he did not because he had feelings for her but because he wanted total control over the situation.

1) every now and then the writers remind you of how vile a person don is. this was prolly the biggest example of that. he was a complete piece of shyt on this ep.

-he harped on the misfortune of a marital dispute to take extra advantage of wounded woman. all but amanda berry'd her in that hotel room. im like "did the hoe eat?!" shyt was borderline psychotic. i was glad she rolled out, even after he begged.

-blew off work and when he actually showed up, he had this sense of entitlement like everyone was supposed to hold the start of a chaotic merger for him.

-got ted drunk just to feed his own ego as is usually the case. peggy didnt appreciate that shyt. she gonna confront him just like joan did. i was smilin when dude jerked that plane to make don bytch up.

-didnt even have the decency to comfort his wife who's always shook up after national tragedies.

2) pete was a sympathetic figure this week. his whole life is crumbling. that apartment was supposed to be a player's crib, he was positioning a big payday w/ the ipo and now he's p*ssyless, on the couch with the old crazy lady from the simpsons barking at him and he gotta fight for a chair in management meetings. he may have fallen last week, but he's really on his arse, this week.

3) bob benson. i'll just say this, if my fav character is gonna be relegated to joan's boy toy, ima be mad. all his fake ass nice guy shyt should not be for JUST saving his job and getting to put his head in them bossoms. they better have bigger plans for him. he better be a villain. he BETTER

4) fukk was dawn?

5) yup, i hate roger, again.

Alan Sepinwall is dropping so much knowledge in his every review :ohlawd:

I don't think he still gets adavnced copies of the show but he still delivers cooked crack few hours after the show

Sylvia leaves Don in the elevator in their building, not even bothering to turn back and look at him as she goes, and Don has no choice but to return to the wife he feels no connection to. (When Megan tries proposing another trip to Hawaii, he doesn't even hear the words coming out of her mouth; she's just a silent, distant blend of hair and teeth that he once felt something for.) His first marriage ended within days of the first Kennedy assassination, and though he and Megan may continue going through the motions longer than he and Betty did, their body language in that final scene — backs to each other, facing in different directions, in different emotional states (Megan devastated, Don just lost) — says everything.
I reccomend reading his full reviews, he also thinks Bob Benson has much larger part to play than just Joan's fukk buddy.
