And yes, I have it above Road Warrior. That is not to say that Road Warrior isn't a near perfect flick in its own right, but this is a movie that literally will not be surpassed by anything until the very moment Miller starts working on a new one. An honor that was previously held by, you guessed it, The Road Warrior.

I just read that the girl in Max' hallucinations isn't his rebooted daughter but a girl of a group he failed to save, which is why she calls him Max instead of dad.

This story will supposedly be told in one of the upcoming prequel comics that tell the stories of various main characters (Immortan Joe, Nux, Furiosa and Max).

Movie was dope. I watched it at a theatre on the Vegas Strip. All of us were still fukked up and tired from the night before, but that first 15-20 minutes had us . Couple of bruhs had taken some E the night before, and were talking about how they should have saved it for the movie

Movie was straight but I always been a stan of the Mad Max series. The one thing I was mad about was this IMAX 3D shyt, I saw it in 2D but wanted to see it in IMAX . Can they stop with this corny ass 3D shyt. I wanted to see Mad Max and Avengers in regular 2D in IMAX. Damn

Feel the same way, love me some IMAX but if it's in 3D I'd rather just watch it on a regular screen in 2D. The glasses just always annoy me

I partially agree with that, as I've been very clear about how a John Wick prequel would do nothing for the character, but It's different here since Miller already wrote it all. It's not one of those "well, now I'm just gonna force some backstories to cash in". Like I read The Doof Warrior's backstory and I thought the exact opposite, that the mere fact Miller can explain where these characters come from in a couple of sentences and it immediately enriches them is just amazingly brilliant.
