I misspoke on the generalization of viruses. Most of the studies I could find only pertain to the herpes virus.
Have you heard of anyone getting herpes from L-Arginine? I sure haven't. Does L-arginine effect people who already have the virus....absolutely agree that can happen.

Yeah, that's what I meant by 'feeds viruses'. There's nothing to feed on if there's no virus.. But yes, only the herpes virus.
That's why you may hear about people with herpes supplementing with the arginine antagonist, lysine, to suppress outbreaks.
