I enjoyed it quite a bit and I didnt even know it was a show until afterwards when I Google'd a detail I wanted to make sure I got right.

A lot of this film was shot in Shoredtich/Canary Wharf and I find it hilarious how empty the roads were. Luther parked around the back of Brick Lane like it was nothing and that was the most unrealistic thing in this whole film

This could've been something if they kept it more grounded and not try to make a Batman/Mission Impossible flick.

-The prison escape
-Luther just walking around regular and no one on the street recognizes the ex cop who just escaped prison
-Getting his "costume" back
-The ridiculous mask the killer wore
-The hidden murder lair
-Luther being submerged in freezing cold water but being saved by divers at the last second
-Luther waking around okay like he just wasn't submerged in freezing cold water
-The daughter getting kidnapped
-a wig so bad Tyler Perry cringed
-the LCD displays saying "door locking" or "burn initiated"

fukk this movie. I checked out early and just wanted it to end

Good flick! A lot of over the top-"wait a minute, how they get away with that?" cliched moments but Idris and Serkis bodied their roles something serious A strong lead and a really strong and capable villain will always be a winner imo. A little brief cameo from Alice would've been nice but otherwise get that sequel in development

Yea…. I felt funny about this movie….

I don’t wanna shyt on it like you…. But definitely felt off.

And I loved the show

Also…. I get Luther ain’t John Wick or Bourne for that matter.

But dude has absolutely “no hands”

He stay getting his ass whooped for a cop or at max…. The fights be way to close for what they should be for a dude as big as he is

Breh said fukk any and all suspension of disbelief lmaoooo. I get like that sometimes too. I enjoyed this flick though, I’m also a fan of the show.
