At first listen I was like lupe pulled another loser on me

Lupe raps too lazy on this laizzare faire on this album he did not seem hungry enough like he was too cool on this good album lupe could do very much better and this nikka trolled the sht outta me with the booklet

The one quality lupe has over nas, is he is a better radio/ singles artist.
He know how to make catchy sh.it and it not sound forced
None of the singles or radio songs on this are actually good ...
Lupe also for a rapper with a political streak that knew how to have fun and was good at girl records and fun stuff
The bars are sharp but he sounds miserable, a hour of a guy telling you how tired he is the system is
Especially someone who befitted from the majors ... He could be brother Ali or Immortal Technique if he feels that strongly about sh.it but he signed to Atlantic and decide to play the game :
We need to buy lupe a puppy and give him a hug

okay, finally, after reading this thread and fully digesting the album I gotta say I'm with Versa, Jim Duggan, and Loose... this shyt is all around crack.
I'll start off with the bad: Battle Scars. I'm sorry maynes I just dont like it. It IS LASERS, and I wasnt one that hated on LASERS, but it woulda been a track on LASERS that I didnt like much... unlike ABE, Letting Go, Break the Chain, WINS, etc
Aight thats the bad.
Now what I dont understand was some sincere, and some hoe ass niccaz are saying:
"Heart Donor" is fukcin dope. Not sure what yall are hearing, but youre not listening. That nicca SPIT on that whole track. Period. That nicca said, "...but you dont bounce you just Bond to it/ like you Sean Con or Gorilla Glue-ish..." The problem is many of you fakkets listen to and love hearin your favorite rapper tell you how theyll kill "you" and "take your bytch" that youre not accustomed to a rapper tellin you something positive. Damn, niccaz have some food with ya liquor or youll throw up.
"Cold War" - if you dont like this track something is wrong with YOU, not the song. A nicca earlier in the thread said a song hasnt made him feel like this since and then didnt say when. But I'll answer it, since Pac. "So Many Tears" to be exact. The beat, hook, and of course the lyrics are all on point. The tone and mood of the song is perfect for the song. Even the 2nd verse a nicca was complaining about the beginning of it because he was explaining shyt. Nicca, he was explaining his personal feelings, not what the song is about.
We'll see if Cheif Keef's buddies are able to do a track like this in a year or so.
"How Dare You" - I can see how some would have an issue. But it serves is purpose. Its not like its wack, it just doesnt quite fit with the rest. I guess this and "heart donor" are the food...
the hooks - dont know what you niccaz are listenin to. I understand yall like simple hooks, maybe three or four words repeated over and over again: "Hustle Real Hard" "I dont Like" "If you tired be quiet and go to sleep" "Oh Leh Doit" etc I'm not knocking it but lets not act like shyt is dope.
the beats - if you said this sounded like LASERS then I know you didnt listen to either ablum and your hate for the sake of hating is noted.
