So you didn't nitpick the struggle bars on Kenny's album like you did Lupe, huh? :sas2:

I mention anything that effects my listening experience, Kendrick had some stuff I didn't like most definitely, wasn't as bad as Lupe's worst lines on his album though.

Consider for a moment that Supreme Clientele came out in the year 2000 breh. That's an example of an album that was monumental & influential that "real" on any hip-hop fan for that matter would consider classic material. There is an objective consensus that goes along with classics imo. You can't just throw Tetsuo & Youth in there, especially when it's probably at best Lupe's 3rd best album. Furthermore, it's way too early to crown To Pimp a Butterfly in this fashion also.

Go ahead and appreciate the music that you love though breh. I don't take issue with that, but the "Real" hip-hop fan shyt is often a cop out for panned & obscure material.

Well breh, ghost face is not a new school artist nor is supreme clientele post 2000.

Tetsuo is a great near classic album especially when compared to the WACK music out today and obviously not Lupe's best album but I never said it was.

It is never too early to crown a album great upon a few listens. It only required one listen to determine that It Takes a Nation of Millions was classic. Perhaps to the untrained ear it would require several, listens.

REAL Hip hop music is dope music made for the REAL Hippas. Dope Beats and Rhymes.

Does everything have to be a competition with you fukking weirdos? You can't just appreciate the fact that two good artists just dropped great albums this year and leave it at that?

THIS
But I enjoyed Lu's more

Honestly, when discussing Lupe's albums I can't even put any of his best 3 above or below each other. It's like 1A, 1B, and 1C... they all are excellent, but honestly, I think Food & Liquor Advance with a few of the additions to the retail version would have probably been Lupe's best album hands down

How is Lupe's album experimental ? I don't see it. Unless poppy production is experimental now ?
What beats are poppy on Lupe's album?

It's way too early for this though, I have to let an album cook for AT least a week to dive into it.
