Respect. I just was hoping for something more enjoyable. I don't get giddy over trying to decipher pseudo intellectual swill like a character from the Big Bang Theory. Mural is nice but there just isn't anything else on here that justifies you dudes deifying it like you have. @Versa's posts in here had me really feeling Lupe woulda proved me wrong and after listening to the album his posts are just embarrassing. @intilectual recipricol level embarrassing. But do you. If you like it, that's what's up. I do like that some of you dudes actually went out and supported a project you liked.

I came in expecting an exemplary album even though damn near everything this dude Lupe has done in the past 5 years should have had me expecting different. I can tell you exactly what's going on with the reception of this album. His super fans smell blood in the water and are circling the classic tag like sharks. You have to also realize the context here: these same fans consider F&L & The Cool classics. Like life changing, peerless material. They also apologized for Lasers & FL2 etc.
So now they have a legit good album. Better than the first 2. He exceeded expectations. This is their moment.
I played it for the second time last night while drinking, made it to track 9 before getting tired and there were a few weak songs (blur my hands & dot and lines). I plan on finishing the rest today. 79 minutes is a long slog.
@Billy Ocean you my man 100 Grand I was honestly expecting you to love this shyt man, your just as much a fan of lyricism and creativity as some of the better posters on this board. Why you not feeling it?
You weren't ready to proceed to the next level. It's okay though Wayne empathized with your struggle and came through.
The production alone if anything should have easily carried you through, so I've come to the conclusion your taste in music is simply atrocious and your opinion is not to be taken seriously. Ever. On anything.
