I havnt tried to listen to it backwards yet. But the theory doesnt sound that off. I dont know about the exact meaning of it and dont know if hes correct about the resurrection part but Im pretty sure Lupe made album playable in both ways. Making a concept album that have a red line running through it both forward and later on, backwards.
I kind of figured it out on the first listen when he was talking about Blockbuster on Blur my hands.

I then remembered him tweeting earlier about "how to listen to the album".
Him talking about you had to listen to it track by track. Which is a strange advise since most of the time you listen to the album that way. You normally dont need to tell your fans in which order you have to play them.
I havnt gone back and read what the exact tweets but it feels like he was giving us hints that after listening to the album the "normal"/"negative" way, we have reverse it to get the "correct"/"positive" order.

Didn't listen to the album but read through some of the topic and this is kind of what I expected from this album.
Lupe's a lyrical genius and incredibly talented, but alienates people with his style. I can't listen to him, but I respect his craft
