Lupe never really fell from a lyrical standpoint...he just couldnt craft an album for shyt. Even the pop records on here are done tastefully. This is gonna take a few listens to digest. Cant say the album is perfect, but theres a lot going on here, wont drop a rating yet

Minor note/Random thought: This was probably said on here when the song first same out, but I always have to fight the urge to not repeat "Deliver" whenever I hear it. People always talk about how this rapper is "real" or that rapper is "real." Nah, bullshyt, THIS is a real ass song. I could probably take this to my office, play it and have zero people truly understand the connotations of this song.
shyt, I'm probably the only person in the office that this kind of thing has EVER happened to. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about that, but I'm glad that Lupe made a song about it. Much more effective than any number of straightforward "my hood is so brutal/gutter/etc." songs could be.
