Breh listening to his review of T&Y all I could think about was how bad he shyt on FOTP and the other releases. Really surprising this album got this kind of reaction out of him.

FOTP is such an underrated project. The myth that he hasn't good music and projects since The Cool is so inaccurate.

Album is fire.

I put the Cool in the whip (SWIDT???) to see if i was just on some fukk Lupe shyt back then and it's significantly cornier than T&Y. The beats are bland, his flow is on that corny shyt cats were doing back then sounding like homos and shyt. I'm only up to 'Superstar' though. lotta album left. I recall liking the beat tp paris, tokyo & gold watch.

I'm glad he sounds tough now.

Just typing those songs out reminded me of just how great that album was.

For shorter listening sessions, I'm a just start playing specific seasons depending on how I'm feeling.

I do something like that sometimes, but some songs are so long, I still get to my destination before the song is over. 1 round of Choppers and from work to wherever I decide to eat at that day, I'm pulling in their parking lot by Lupe's verse beginning.

I think you'd probably like Food & Liquor - specifically the advanced version. It's less experimental in its sound and themes than f&l retail and The Cool.

Nah that's not it. nikkas just loved the album and still love it. T&Y is better but his first two albums are still great in their own right.

I really, really hate the beats on all those songs you mentioned.

i like beats like Gold Watch, Dumb It Down even Kick Push much more.

That's always been his issue. Weak beats and i didn't care enough about his lyrics to put effort into deciphering them.


That's all been fixed on T&Y.
