It was all posted in the text, Royce didnt just put the lyrics there to back up the word amount he used. You see how shook/bothered Mickey was over the Sun Chip's line. To the regular listener it was Royce not saying nothing just trying to sound dope but the intended targets got hit.

He was basically saying their beef initially started on who raps better not a diss battle, and Royce rapped much better than Lupe on his song than Lupe did in his song, so he shouldn’t respond to Lupe’s diss because it was levels below as far as rapping. Which it was, but I feellike Lupe and Royce were trying to do two different things. Royce was proving he raps better, Lupe was doing a diss record

As a person that has Lupe and Royce in my top 5 of all time, (Lupe #4 and Royce #5). Noone should be surprised that casual listeners of these artists think Royce won. He obviously rapped better, flowed better, was better lyrically and had the better beat. In my group chat with 17 other nikkas, maybe 2 of them are avid listeners of Lupe and Royce but still not that connected to know how dope Lupe line "you never left Heaven, cuz you already dead" is. I had to explain it to them. Only 1 person out of 17 thinks Lupe won because their not that tune. I'm just happy the 2 best rappers in the world currently are sparring but I've definitely ran Royce "diss" back much more

Line wasn't all that just like that martial artist shyt. Def wasnt a more executed flip of Royce saying Lupe was dead already in his rap. And im on record on this very site speaking of Lu's skills as a rapper over the years. Im damn near in every thread defending him.

That one bar set mentioning Nas, pictures and afu ra (i doubt even 10% of the coli knows who he is) was all tied in nicely. I call those stacked bars where you need the previous lines to get the full picture of what the main line meant.
