I agree. He has a bad habit of rambling with just wordplay and alliteration along with fast and varying flows and delivery but it's not that dope to me.

I don't think rapper's who's entirety lies in their flow that dope in general so he's at least a whole step above those types.

Kendrick's greatest talents are his concepts, storytelling and creativity. He's probably made songs about more things than all of your favorite rappers already.(except em and nas?)


His lyricism shows more when listening to his projects in entirety than single songs which is why he's not a "playlist" rapper like that

And Kendrick isn't really measured by his ability to rap, he's measured by his ability to make great albums and storytelling
