Well, he's extremely petty and the deal Chilly worked out was Atlantic would get a 3% cut out of his 6th album. There were other benefits like expanding his setlist and biding time cause the sample clearances were taking forever, but the main thing was never letting Atlantic get one more cent out of his hard work after the way he was treated there.
