As a pure-spitter he's elite, as good as anyone ever. But there's more that goes into being considered a top 5 rapper all time. He lacks one of the key qualities at times--charisma. Though he puts on a good concert. But that's not really relevant. I was just caught off guard by that classic talk.

Album is cool. I liked it more the 2nd time I listened to it. Just wish the over the top hyping wasn't there.

Food & Liquor II and Life is Good are both instant classics to me, yes.

Ya'll really think songs like ITAL, Strange Fruition, Lambo Angels, Unforgivable Youth, Around My Way, Put Em' Upand Audobon Ballroom will age poorly? They're not carried by the production like some of these nikkas The Booth loves who ain't talking about shyt. It's all about the lyrics and the themes and they will stand the test of time. Take it to the bank. Lupe said Food & Liquor Ii is the type of album that's a slow burn and gets better and better with every listen and he wasn't fronting about that at all.

And yes Lupe Fiasco is better than Jay-Z in every way, but a lot of people won't accept this until Lupe owns 4% of the Bulls, marries Rihanna and gets a Heineken endorsement. The only nikka I wanna hear about being better than Lupe at this point in time is Nas.

Nah, I have my own brain, it takes me a while to even spew some shyt like classic out my mouth. first of all it has to pass the longevity part(i know it will) second i have to properly decipher and breakdown all the lyrics and rhyme patterns on this album. so give me a few months....

BIG had two fukking albums before passing and not even close to the mixtape/random song material and yet he's GOAT status unquestionably right? What the fukk else does Lupe have to do? Die?

Lupe is one album away from having just as many top quality albums as Jay-Z(Black Album, Reasonable Doubt, American Gangster and I'll give him Blueprint even though to me that album is overrated as fukk), has top tier quality mixtapes and he's not even in the top 10 yet? NOT EVEN TOP 10?
