I think a bit of transparency would probably help to quell some of the sense of dread I have with the program. And in the case of Afghanistan I would even be perfectly fine with a troop withdrawal and the threat of drone attacks used as the means of keeping the peace as it were.
I have always thought that we should be using high level human intelligence (instead of bought and paid for snitches or folks we have tortured) for information gathering and start treating the Al-Queda problem as a police matter as opposed to an open ended, nebulous pseudo-war that is dominated by the military defense apparatus of this country.
And I am in total agreement with Ben Franklin when it comes to giving up personal liberties in the name of perceived safety.
where you sayin the same thing on 9.11 or where you crying like a biitch?
War is barbaric. Drones or no drones innocent people will die. Collateral damage is a part of war, it's not unique to drone strikes. You measure the efficacy of military war strategy if it accomplishes two things - it gets said mission done and it reduces the likelihood American military casualties. In both cases, drone strikes is good policy.
I was sayin it fukked up AND was also acknowledging fukked up shyt happens everyday....BECAUSE IT DOES. Whether it's somebody in a small town gas station gettin rob n killed or a national tragedy like 911. Nobody is taking away da significance and/or pain caused by either one. Bad shyt happens EVERY SINGLE DAY to people. Nothing is goin to change dat and pointing dat shyt out is somehow a prollem? Stating a fact of life is simply dat....stating a fact of life.
Once again why is stating somethin factual(whether it's too harsh for your liking) such as innocent people die everyday seen as some sort of outlandish thing? Dere's nothing false or unrealistic about it. It's life and nobody can challenge dat.
Now FOH already wit all dis faux outrage bs over it.
I hope you maintain this same callous attitude when one of your people's get killed by a terrorist or drone.

You nikkas really do need to develp your comprehension skills. All i said was innocent people die everyday and you mufukkas are actin like i said some wild outlandish fantastical evil shyt.

^^ all these heads in the sand
face it, drone strikes kill scores of innocents with no proof, process or recourse
Innocent people get killed everyday nikka. Dat's life.
let's be real, you said this in response to me pointing out you guys were dismissing a legit concern about drone strikes from Lupe. Your point about 'innocents' was specifically a response to my saying that these drone strikes are killing a lot of random people. If you were making a general point about life than it's neither here nor there on drone strikes or anything else
it sounds a lot like a callous dismissal of innocent people getting killed (and ignores the fact that we're the ones killing them). Accepting that innocent people die all of the time doesn't absolve those responsible for their deaths.

How da fukk YOU gon tell ME what da meaning was behind what I said nikka?
Innocent people die everyday. Whether it's by drone attacks or whatever. Dat was mah point period. YOU'RE da mufukka trynna project some other motive/meaning onto it other than what it simply was.
but why stop there? I and millions of others voted for Obama, aren't I responsible too? What about those of use who pay taxes aka pay for those drone strikes, aren't we responsible? what about the intelligence officers and the other military personnel who help coordinate drone attacks?
Cristian on the other site got a lot of heat for being a super revolutionary but at least he knew that each cog in the wheel plays an important part. without one the machine stutters to a halt but I get what Lupe is saying
So you have no point? You just came in here talking like Jules from Pulp Fiction with no reference to drone strikes as opposed to other things? Fine then. I look forward to you walking into other threads about murder saying similar things
