You want just his songs or features too?
I wasn't aware he did many features. Whatever was good I'm trying to hear though. I tuned a lot of his work out over the last few years.

I don't blame you. Its been hit or miss with this nikka since he's been experimenting a lot lately.I wasn't aware he did many features. Whatever was good I'm trying to hear though. I tuned a lot of his work out over the last few years.
I agree, Lupe is judged to a higher standard... BUT HE SHOULD BE
I listen to a lot of hip hop, and I've never been blown away like the first time I heard Fahrenheit 1/15 Parts 1 and 2... the shyt he was spittin on Failure, Where I'm From, Ooh, Handcuffs, Twilight Zone, Champ Is Here, Lupe The Killer, Dead Presidents freestyle, etc. were so far beyond anything I had heard from a new comer to that point in terms of flow, concepts, straight bars, and ESPECIALLY the wordplay... sky is the limit for Lupe, when he's motivated to actually rap and spit bars, no one is fukkin with him
watching Lupe put out shyt like this is equivalent to watching Lebron settle for jumpers knowing that he's the most unstoppable force in the league when he's aggressive and goes to the hole... I almost feel like I want dude to put out good music more than HE does, I guess the desire just isn't there anymore

Elaborate.You werent listening right
Elaborate.
I listen to Lupe because he makes good music. Yea he's a good lyricist, but beat selection is just as important imo.He went in on every single song. The beats were not good.
But, dont we listen to Lupe for lyrics? You couldnt have asked for more in that department.
Has Lupe ever said anything profound? He's just clever; nothing more, nothing less.
excuse my ignorance and lack of knowledge for the culture, but could you post some work of this slug guy you are referring to? never heard of em -
