Nas rapped a song backwards. Told the story backwards. Spit sentences backwards and made it coherent. If that ain't a lyricist I dont know what is.

But Nas is a lyricist. I hate that people these days use wordplay as the end all be all barometer for lyricists. If u have to leave a lyricist like Nas off the list that means something is wrong with ur definition.
