Luka dropped 45 points on 62 percent true shooting and it doesn't matter

Their best asset is Brunson, he's gonna be in this position for a while and Mavs historically have been bad at FA. Maybe Luka can convince someone

Exactly.

They better trade him and build a squad around Brunson.

Heliocentric ball can work, as evidenced by LeBron/Harden.

It isn't recommended, but those type of players can be the system entirely and have playoff success. There needs to be more offball movement imo in these offenses instead of 3 players watching a high PnR tho.

However, Dallas needs actual bigs. Ayton only has to be guarded by Dwight fukking Powell :dead: who had one rebound in sixteen minutes.

I honestly consider Brunson a Cam Johnson level player so for him to be the second player that needs to bring it and Cam is just filling in chilling shows how crazy it is for the Mavs to even be where they’re at right now with their roster.

Luka maybe steals a game if his guys get hot on the outside but aside from that I don’t see any other avenue for them to win whereas the Suns can do it in a multitude of ways.

@Rhakim I can't even quote messages smh but anyway yeah Kidd should at least give Boban some runs. We know he won't play multiple games of 35+ minutes but he can do damage in stints. And he'll probably get Ayton in foul trouble.

The main problem and I knew it would be. I actually thought they would have problems with this against Utah. Luka and Brunson can go off but if Powell or anyone for that matters gives you nothing on both ends under the basket, they are likely not winning the game.

They gotta Luka some help

Dinwiddie is trash and Brunson is a midget 6th man. I'm still surprised they beat Utah

You mean lebron and Giannis

Harden never got a chip as a 1 (although he's had good playoff runs though)

And even then, Lebron still needed to get superstars to win with

No. U need other stars/superstars to make it work. Harden dint win anything playing like that. And LeBron had superstar talent to try it with. When he didnt, he looked how he did in his last year in cleveland (where he was the only contender in the conference) and this year in LA

I meant playoff runs in general.

Even then, I think those teams are still capable of winning chips. Imo, I dont think you need two superstars, but people need to step up when it counts and key role players can't disappear.
