Let Giannis score but how is the Celtics gonna score their buckets to make up for it? Giannis is also locking up the paint

It's Brook Lopez guarding the paint, Giannis is the roamer

And Celtics low offense was more of turnovers on the perimeter, not even in the paint. Also them standing around with no cutting or ball movement

Not a bad game from Luka, but the suns still pull through and go up 1-0 in the series

-2 in a 7 point loss

Mavericks vs. Suns - Box Score - May 2, 2022 - ESPN

dude kind of almost brought them back in a sort of pseudo-comeback type way, but it's clear that this Luka centric offense isn't always going to work, they need a true second star..... and a competent center. Brunson and Dinwiddie are not it, Brunson struggles against teams with length....

Celtics shot just 10-34 on two-point shots in the game, including 1-15 on two-pointers where Giannis or Lopez challenged the shot. Their inability to score inside on those guys was a HUGE reason why their were limited offensively.

When was the last time an NBA team only made 10 two-point shots in an entire game?

(Just checked - it had never before occurred in Celtic history, their previous low was 14 two-pointers. It's only occurred once in NBA postseason history, on that '17 Rockets team in the game Harden completely tanked and they wasn't even trying to shoot two-pointers anyway.)

What happened with him and Porzingas? I know rumors were saying Por wanted the ball more but I guess Luka wasn’t having it.

If Luka gets another crack with a second star he’s gonna need to share the rock more…and not when the shot clock hits 4 secs left

Luka been a problem and will remain one so long as the mavs remain comfortable with that style of play.

The answer is staring everyone right in the face:

Run the offense through Boban in an inside-outside game, forcing Phoenix to collapse inside and opening up Dallas's shooters. Luka's role should be to get the ball into Boban just like Magic fed Kareem.

Boban dominated the MVP, he could take apart this too-small Suns squad.
