I don't understand this shyt on either end other than the Lakeshow wanting to have more of a firm future for the next decade lol. But even then, they gonna have to put hella pieces around Luka, and try to get him subscribed to that TB12 program or sum shyt. And just on the current tip, this is horrible defensively lol---I hope they got more bullets/surprises in the chamber.

As far as the Mavs.....I don't even know. The Russians have gotta have something to do with this :wtf:

Doncic was getting it done with Tim Hardaway Jr, Finney Smith, kleber, Dwight Powell

Someone in Dallas need to pull a Luigi and send this Zionist Troll-doll looking witch where she belongs :bustback::bustback::bustback:

Unless he literally threatened to blow up the American Airlines Center there’s no legit reason to trade Doncic. Dude literally has potential to be the GOAT, outside of Wemby there’s no package I’d take for him.

Honestly this still doesn’t feel real, I’m still waiting for something to confirm this is an alternative reality. Easily the most shocking trade in sports history, there wasn’t even a hint this would happen

There has to be five babymamas and a massage scandal

Make it make sense

Unless he killed somebody, the trade doesn’t make sense

Prolly told someone Free Palestine and Adelson said to get him outta Dallas immediately. I’m waiting for a story labeling him Hamas.

I think under different circumstances he’d be happy but THIS damn sure ain’t one of those circumstances.

This is the Mav’s basically telling Luca “fukk you. You ain’t good enough for us”. Paying you longterm would be akin to injecting cancer into the fabric of our franchise.”

This is an insult trade the likes of which hasn’t been seen in DECADES.

When’s the last time a team told their homegrown star player to basically kiss ass on the way out of the door with NO warning or heads up because they didn’t want to pay him and thought that an all star, ANY all star was a better option? 94 when the Hawks traded Dominique Wilkins to the Clippers for Danny fukking Manning?!?!! And at least Atlanta had the flimsy “we traded for a younger player” excuse to fall back on. The Mavs don’t even have THAT to sell.
If that's the case then playing there might finally get him to take his conditioning seriously, because they're going to light his ass up in LA if he continues down this trajectory.

I don’t like the trade for Dallas on its face but I’m not in the building and there is obviously something else to it .

You can’t just downplay the conditioning and injury thing like some posters are doing though..it’s not just being fat . It’s the fact that now his calf is showing weakness which leads to other more serious problems . They know Luka better than anyone else on the planet so if they’re hesitant there is a reason to be in their mind .

Just calling the ownership cheap is just lazy talk ..

Luka isn’t a free agent .. they could’ve did this in the summer but they didn’t wait.. it’s a combination of not wanting to commit to him financially and believing he could not come back this year and replicate last year with a stronger supporting cast.

I do like the fact that they didn’t just throw the money at him and hope like most franchises do with their players .. .. New Orleans looks even more pathetic now.. imagine being held hostage by Jimmy Butler or Fox . Dallas was cold with it .. whether they’re right or not is to be seen

For the lakers I obviously get it .this isn’t just about this year. It’s a short term on court L in hopes it solidifies their future

Exactly why it's an excellent trade for Dallas (at least short-term)

If there was a re draft I think Luka goes first for EVERY team.... maybe Tatum or Wemby 2nd....this is some incredible shyt.... Why would you trade a young generational talent that just went to the finals last year? :dahell:

Something must have been brewing behind the scenes because this is the most perplexing trade of all time.

For as much as we, Laker fans, sometimes shyt on Pelinka and question his skills over the years, we gotta say the man does surprise us with these trades and these moves he makes out of nowhere; now it's easy to see why Kobe was fond of him...

Speaking of Kobe (R.I.P.) just imagine if he was alive when this trade went down :wow:.

I don't know if Magic responded yet but I know he's ecstatic :pachaha:.

WTF

If Mark Cuban was still the majority owner this trade would've never happened. He would've probably fired Nico for even thinking about this dumb ass trade :dead:

Live from the Mavericks subreddit

We know what that’s about :mjpls:

The Mavs are owned by a woman of a certain heritage that are known to be a bit…frugal if you will  she wasn’t about to pay $345 million to a Slovenian

Per usual, @Gil Scott-Heroin is tap dancing and running interference on behalf of a white player :mjlol: That’s like saying it’s going to rain in April

Nico Harrison has some of the deepest connections in the league and got the Mavs to the Finals when no one expected them to be there. He’s also pulled off some great deals. I would’ve pushed for more than what he got, but I believe there’s a method to the madness.

We have seen the peak of Luka already. He’s been a professional for 10 years, and doesn’t have anywhere else to go game wise. That’s through no fault of his own, he just came in super polished already.

He’s not going to take care of himself, he’s going to cry about the refs, and he’s not going to play any defense. He’s still top 10, but he has shown his ceiling.
