For once the Lakers sold when the value was high. It's a smart deal. AD will fall apart in two years, and lose motivation without Bron. You don't want him to be the face of the team. Players will be begging to come to LA to play with Luka.

And a fat euro that doesn’t take conditioning seriously is gonna do what exactly, long term?

His shelf life as an upper tier player is gonna be way shorter than ads lol, can’t wait to watch this play out

It's 100% because of cheap ownership not wanting to give him super max, the weight is just to get some bs excuse out the way.
I mean there is this 90% of the salary cap/50% of revenue thing in the cba. And AD is making 60ms next year.

And the mavs have the most far right owner in sports in the world.

This sounds like Silver, LeBron, Rich, Nike

Trading your best player (in his mid 20s) the season right after getting to the Finals is insanity. I gotta assume that in the future we are gonna hear about something wild Luka must’ve done to piss off management or ownership on a personal level.

Let’s be honest. Luka was probably Leaving for LA in two years anyway. Mavs probably caught wind and traded his fat ass. :manny:

Probably should have at least gotten a few more picks but the Lakers don’t have much anyway.

This Mavs team is built to win now. Two years of prime AD and Kyrie with a good supporting cast, not that bad honestly
This ain't the 80s no more stars don't need to play in Los Angeles to be relevant so him going to LA willingly idk about that..That's not even bringing into account the tens of millions of dollars he's gonna have to pay now in California state tax he wasnt paying in Texas:damn:
