He was at the game the other day and didn't look any different. And let's say for argument's sake he was 270, so what? How is that in any way remotely comparable to someone who can't stay on the floor, has never been to the playoffs, and has a style of play where being overweight is a detriment to his health?

As it's already been pointed out - Luka being fat hasn't stopped him from being an annual All-NBA player and taking his team to the Finals.

They are not the same.

Besides, Luka needs to carry a little bit of extra weight to be an effective post player, otherwise, he could just as easily get a whole bunch of niggling injuries trying to post up all the time by trying to overcompensate with a lack of size/weight. No different to Jokic who uses his weight to effortlessly move players out of the way.

It's 100% because of cheap ownership not wanting to give him super max, the weight is just to get some bs excuse out the way.
