shyt just thought of a C/PF the Lakers could maybe go for that nobody thought about, what about John Collins from Utah, prolly wouldn't cost much to get him and he can stretch the floor a lil bit and be a lob threat.

Nico has full autonomy from the owners. Nico LOVES AD. Nico is tired of Luka’s shyt (and to an extent Kidd as well). Nico and Rob are friends.
Nico approached Rob. Rob was cool with it and kept it to himself. Nico pulls the trigger. Bomb dropped.
It’s as simple as that. Crazy thing is Nico is highly regarded amongst his peers.
To Dallas fans, if they win back to back rings without Luka, it still doesn’t matter. That’s how much they love him.

Can’t get Tatum, Wemby, SGA, Giannis nor Jokic. Those all “I can carry a team to a finals” players. Everybody behind them are top tier number 2’s. AD is a top ten player and fits the style they want to play.
He wouldn’t want a young package from Houston. Jaylen Williams isn’t ready. Paolo isn’t ready. Would you take JJJ and Morant? Would Cavs say yea to Mobley and Allen?
The only real pair for Nico would be Ant and Rudy. Minny doing that? Luka and some throw ins to make the salaries match? Maybe. They have a future star and Rudy has a few years left in the tank. Honestly, that might be the best trade.

it's by the guy who created RPM, and worked as a Mavs analyst from 20-22. He says early on, his data said "trade Luka" - because his impact on the game wasn't as high as his perceived value around the league, so they could get a ton for him.
but after this guy left the Mavs, Luka's metrics improved and started to match his perception around the league.
he's still concerned about luka's conditioning.
but he also agrees this was a terrible, terrible deal and he thinks it's because nico is a moron
Breh, Ainge would kill Collins and himself before sending him to LA.
