I understand what you claim is a possibility but its still just conjecture. all the real evidence (circumstantial i will admit) points towards him not planning on going anywhere. Moreover they didn't even try to negioate anything with him. What if they pulled some Pat Riley/Dwade stuff and convinced him to take a discount for more Help? They didn't even try to keep him. Feel more like they wanted him gone rather than they were getting ahead of him requesting a trade.

I think this is what people are missing. In order to win a title with Luka, you have to have great rim protection and multiple All-Defense wings to support him on that side of the ball. He can carry an offense and against some teams get away with being a turn style on defense... but Boston put the gameplan and blueprint on tape on how to beat him.

Attack him relentlessly and he'll give up baskets, and then he'll fold mentally crashing out on the officials for not getting calls.
