Honestly. Laker fans have real ass history to be arrogant unlike the Knicks. I used to HATE the Do it Mitch talks, but how many times do they have to pull off wild top level acquisitions across all of our lifetimes before we say that franchise is different?

Even removing Kobe and Magic who they drafted. They went and got Kareem. They went and got Shaq. They went and got Pau. They almost got CP3 until Stern stepped on it. They went and got Bron. They went and got AD. They went and got Luka.

I genuinely can't think of any team really close historically to going to get stars and it works out in their favor to a crazy degree, maybe the Yankees are second place to them.....and maybe Ferrari in F1, but their weight is kinda undeniable at this point across all sports.
