Very silly comparison. He’d have vastly more flexibility if he opted out in the offseason not if he demanded a trade

He could see what a team has, what they could offer and what’d he have to take pay cut wise to make that happen

A trade removes almost all those options because his salary is set it stone right now
Still doesn't change anything about what I said as he isn't seeing anywhere close to what he's making now on the open market as the majority of teams don't have the cap space to do it.

So then why leave now.. that’s the entire point. If he was gonna leave it’d be IN THE OFFSEASON, not now

He has vastly more flexibility in ANY direction he wants to go. He’d be limited if he left in a trade now

The more I think about it the less sense this trade makes for Dallas....the mental gymnastics some folks are doing to justify this trade is impressive :ehh:

This is bordering on WWE levels of a trade ...I'm a Lakers fan so im not mad at it :myman:
I mean...dallas might be more balanced. A great scoring and defebnsive big, with a guard that can honestly... do everything luka can(kyrie), and another elite wing shooter(klay), might be better than having a old lebron and an elite small forward with defensive issues.

Its the kind if balance I wish my warriors had.
