Some of y'all are going too far with the AD praise in here. He's a great great player when he's healthy but we're talking about a guy who has a history of missing games and is 31-years old vs. a guy who is 25-years old and at worst a Top 5 player in the league.

Their timelines don't overlap. If AD is the centerpiece of a deal for the Mavs then you need to get more picks/players. It's Luka. Thunder would have asked for way more and received it if it was SGA.

Even tho we no longer have a formidable big in AD, this is still a very good Lakers team on paper that has gotten offensively better...we're 5th in the West and nine games above.500, I could see us getting closer to that top 3-4 spot as the season progresses.

I suspect we'll make another trade before the deadline, but even so, this team, after AD's departure, isn't really as bad as some are selling it to be as far as the rest of this season is concerned. I'm not saying we're gonna win the chip this season, but I don't see us falling down the standings either.

Did UTAH get an Anthony Davis level player back in the Gobert trade? People are acting like Dallas should have gotten 4, 5 or 6 picks in this trade like Anthony Davis isn't involved in the deal.

It’s about shopping Luka around. Nobody denies AD legend status but it’s about getting a better deal.

Look I’m a Knicks fan and if we still had our draft picks Leon would have traded KAT and those 5 1st round picks for Luka and I would have personally drove KAT to the airport.

What could have went wrong in Dallas that fast from just being in the Finals to now trading a guy who arguably is the 2nd best player in the league right now? The conditioning thing doesn't really hold up when he's been there in April and did historic shyt when he has got the chance to have a good squad in the playoffs. Unless he asked out or has some kind of injury the Mavs are fools for this trade. They got two years tops to maximize this window before Kyrie and/or Ad start to decline.
