Is it fucced up that I hope Doncic doesn't turn into a star? I just want him to be a starter that's a fringe all-star player. I don't want another eurocac as the face of the franchise. I always lowkey felt that hurt us when it came to landing big name free agents. I will be happy if he's just another Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, or Andrei Kirilenko instead of a face of the franchise player like Dirk was.

Dirk not having an agent and staying to himself hurt us more than his ethnicity or race. Mavs might as well take their time and build this back up the right way than chase FAs because nobody is beating the Warriors the next 2 years minimum.

He was one of the most exciting players to watch last year. Every other night he's all over IG/Twitter with some crazy ass play or dunk. Players around the league sees these things.

Dirk has been wanting to go to the bench for the past couple of yrs. Team has been so bad that he was our best option. I think barnes starts at the 4 if we get DJ this yr
