I thought someone like Rolando Blackmon or Detlef Schrimf was gonna get a shout.

Those guys played juuuuust before I started watching.

No doubt Blackmon is a Maverick great, tho.

And then he did that cartwheel shyt with 2 basketballs

Kobe went through the legs and that's all she wrote.

If Finley wins that dunk contest, he goes on to 3peat instead of Kobe

Lol I was just naming random players from the past.

I got more love for Mashburn than the other 2 at that time. We flipped Kidd for Finley. Jim Jackson had an immaculate hairline but fell off after the Tony Braxton shyt.

Kidd obviously won a title here in 11 so he's good now.

All in all, the 3 Js leaving lead us to the Finley, Dirk, and Nash era.

Real talk, based on what I've seen this year from him so far, he looks like a better player than even Tyson Chandler was on that 2011 Mavs title team.

Nah, I'm not sold on DeAndre.

Our system makes him look better than he is.

Don't discount what Rick, JJ Barea, and Doncic do for DeAndre.

The 2 man game we run and spacing our players provide and double and triple screen sets we run do wonders for him. Rick squeezes every drop of utility out of DeAndre.

I'd rather lock up Powell long-term than DeAndre. DeAndre contract would be an albatross 2 years in and we all know that.
