I don't know why when I read the last statement, I thought of love being like a parasite, sucking the life out of you. Are you making me a cynic, sir?

It's actually a pretty good idea to be a cynic, at the end of the day your emotional well being depends on the whims of another individual. And no matter what people say, the love between most men and women is conditional. The first condition is usually just being attractive enough for your mate to be interested

When you just fall in love with someone the high is amazing. But when it ends the heartbreak equals the low. Equals the rehab, even if that person is no good for you, you still want that hit. You say you won't contact them
You feel antsy then you finally break qns contact them and suddenly you feel great the high gain that slowly wears off.

I know how you feel...which is why I like to stay Jeter status....focus on my own accomplishments and not get too attached ...like that saying in the movie heat...

Man... love absolutely terrifies me. Mostly because I've see the STUPIDITY that it brings out of people. Especially as of late. And to be straight up, and this is probably no excuse, I've maybe seen only one real example of the good kind of love. And no, it wasn't from a family member. Those people, family or not, have no clue what good relationships are.

I think that's affected my view on it. Not to say that I don't want a relationship or I think they're all lies. But it's got me cynical as hell.

I think you only really hit that high with LOVE once in ya life. Happens when you a youngin too, has to do with the innocence we all have as kids.

We dont like to admit it, but relationships we have as adults jus aint the same, both parties already have too much emotional baggage, or have "seen" too much of the darkness of love or fukkery in general already.
