GTA V is more detailed and it’s expected that over time especially with inflation and a rising market it would not look or feel much like gta San Andreas

I like San Andreas Los Santos more though, the overal setting, activities, and funny cheat codes made the game fun even while not playing story mode. I don’t venture around Los Santos on story mode in 5, I only play online, which they have done well at, disregarding the increasing prices on there for housing and vehicles.

I was scared to go down certain streets in SA
It really immersed you in the gang lifestyle to the point you always had to be aware what hood you were in At any given time
That’s how it created the neighborhood feel I think, your hood was your safe haven and you were most familiar with it

GTAV doesn’t have that same feel. I barely spent time in the desert and michaels original neighborhood felt sterile as shyt. The hood areas had more character but they seemed too small really

GTA SA hoods were realistic and found myself immersed strolling through enemy turf, lots of variety, Hoods all over the place

GTA V felt like 3 neighborhoods..... Chamberlain Hills...Grove..... Mexican hood. Shyt was trash, a huge step back in Map design imo.
Didn't help that the story was bad too.

GTA V should've tried it's best to mimic 3 Era's Los Santos they focused way too much on the downtown area. If the GTA VI rumors about Los Santos returns hopefully its a new era. This HD ERA flopped like a mofo when it comes to story and tie ins, other than Johnny and Packie.

Call GTA VI the start of the 4K Era
