GTA V is way more accurate with the city. But SA just felt better.
Gentrification. Art imitating lifeWhich version did you like better
Me personally, GTA 5 Los Santos is one of my least favorite cities in a GTA game. Its big but it has no real atmosphere like previous cites. Plus this the first GTA game I played where the hood didn't feel like the hood, maybe its because of how large the LA skyscrapers are in this game, but unless you're right on grove street, everything else feels like a regular neighborhood with the skyscrapers right in the back ground.
San Andreas' Los Santos legit felt like being dropped in 1992 Los Angeles. GTAV is more detailed by far due to exponential leap in technology, but the city -- despite being larger and more detailed -- doesn't have a fraction of the spirit or vibe that LS in San Andreas had. I remember cruising around at dusk in San Andreas listening to the radio. The sky had went orange and the palm trees were on full display. Cube's 'Today Was A Good Day' was on Radio Los Santos and the DJ was relaying the weather for the night. It was heavy fog coming in. I never expierenced a moment in GTAV that captured the essence of the city & time like that.
