Lotr were overall great flicks but star wars had the better moments. A new hope is the definition of classic. Empire was one of the greatest of all times and return of tye jedi is super underrated. The final fight between luke and vader is worth the prixe of admission.
I enjoy Star Wars but they're not nothing more than fun space flicks for kids (George Lucas reiterates Star Wars is for ‘12-year-olds,’ calls out ‘mean’ critics), they're a lot of fun but massively over-hyped. I watched them all for the first time a few years back and were like 
it was alright, pretty good. Empire being called one of the GOAT movies is funny shyt though 
Meanwhile Lord of the Rings is one of the greatest films of all time, possibly my favourite film of all time too. shyt is practially flawless to me, I don't care if ROTK runs a little long at the end, shyt is a 12 hour trilogy, I don't want them to wrap everything up in 5 minutes
I want a long, epic ending as we say goodbye to the greatest films to ever grace the screen
