Most of yall niccas who are speakin on whether or not Lord Finesse cleared a sample or not...he didn't rap over the instrumental of the original song like Mac Miller did. Once U get that thru your thick skull then you'll understand this hip hop sh!t.

:pacspit:Scust @ you bytch azz niccas who are products of these CACs takin over the music and culture we love!!

He doesn't need to rap over it. You are missing the point. He is upset that someone used his music with out getting credit/paid which is exactly what he did with the very beat he is upset someone else used. It looks hypocritical to be upset at someone for doing something you didn't do yourself.

:childplease: not a single one of these videos was played on mtv...not even once

kool-aid and pizza on the other hand was in heavy rotation.........thanks

Uh, Tupac's Back most certainly was on MTV they even put it up on their website.

i still see you goofies defending this toy.

i applaud finesse for this shyt.

death to the toy and wack rappers by all cost,...

fukk them!!

art barr

I see this and agree to a point. You gotta check the gatekeepers and people who push the agendas and LET people be wack! Why the hell haven't we revolted against the Radio only playing the same shyt all day?

It's deeper in the fact that Finesse could destroy a Huge part of HipHop with this lawsuit.

Fuccc a Mac Miller, it's the fact that HipHop started by dudes going out in the Park and stealing electricity to Power the speakers, mics and turntables, then DJ's playing records and MC's rhyming over breakbeats they didn't own.

Then Producers chopping records and samples they didn't own and selling it.

A beat used on a mixtape.....Sheeeeeeit. If this goes down, imagine the lawsuits on deck flying from every direction.

Again Fucccc a Wack Miller. This is opening a huge can of worms and could cripple the game. All for Finesse to get 10 Gs.

So LF's copyright infringement is cool, but Mac's isn't?

BIG difference between the art of sampling and just taking a whole song w/o the vocals. You can't be that dense. If Mac would of sampled from LF's beat then LF would be hypocritical for being upset.

Yall seem to be more concerned with LF being so called hypocritical than Mac stealing a WHOLE beat, not a sample or bit but a WHOLE beat and cakin off it.

They have a right to go after LF for sampling the OG but that doesn't make it right for Mac to take a WHOLE song.

If it wasn't for clown azz snitch records and sites cats wouldn't know who LF sampled...that's the art of sampling. LF used a bit from the OG source and made a beat of his own while Mac just outright took the entire song(w/o vocals) and made it his own. U don't see the difference??

No there isn't. It is still taking work an artist made and re-using it. In this case he re-used it with out permission and credit. The exact same thing he is upset for. The sample is one of the best parts of the entire song. Remove the sample and its not the same beat. The problem isnt length of time, it is giving the person credit and getting them paid. Neither of which he did properly himself.

You know why people are more worried about LF being a hypocrite than Mac Miller taking a beat? Because thousands of MCs have taken beats from other people to rap on from mixtapes. That and his 'reason' for going after him was for the very thing he did to another artist.

No one came after LF, that's on them. U act like LF never had clear a sample. When he had to he did or the song wouldn't be released. LF would be a hyprocrite if the OGs came after him for the sample and he didn't pay up or give the credit when asked.

U need to stop listening to Hip Hop if U think choppin a 2 or 3 sec snippet is the same as taking an entire beat!!

If U take someone's shyt they have a right to come after U. If the OG sampled artist wants to come after LF, they have a right to. That doesn't change that FACT that Mac took an entire song that LF physically made and caked off it.
