Hope his mental is strong & got good people around. Non hoopers & people in general who have never loved doing something will say “he’s rich” he’ll be ok.

Possibly ending it all that young by force can fukk with you
The people who use that “he’s rich” line miss the whole point. And it’s also the reason why those people are not rich themselves. They can’t relate to somebody being pained by something like this because they’ve never invested their all into anything to know how it feels to sacrifice everything for something and it not work out.

That’s what Lonzo is going through. He dedicated his whole life to something, and is having it taken away before he can see the fruits of it, not through his own fault or him being lazy or anything, just his body breaking down. Average people can’t relate to that, because they’re lazy, so they fall back on he has money so he’ll be okay.

It could be worse, he could be much less rich if this happen before his extension. It’s sucks what’s happening to him and the bulls.

Expect some sort of exploratory surgery to be announced
There's really only one other option as you've mentioned in this thread and I'd be hesitant to do that since previous surgeries aren't fixing the issue.

If Chicago is going to blow it up at some point and his injury just isn't going to heal for him to play again, I'd try and nudge him into medically retirement so he still gets his money and the contract doesn't count towards the cap.

This is silly, being rich definitely matters
