Lavar wasn’t lying :yeshrug:

Damn this was 2 n a half years ago?!

Bro looked like he wanted to cry

I hate to speculate but given the times we’re in I wouldnt doubt if 1 of 2 things are happening:

1- Lonzo is going to/having mental issues behind this. He’s been the guy for so long and to have that taken from him, plus his fathers approach, plus his brother now being the star

2- How hard is he rehabbing? These new age dudes get a ton of money and can get NBA level money without playing another second. They also low key be addicted to video games (Kyler murray). So how bad does he want it and is that what’s slowing his rehab :whoa:

I’ve torn an Achilles, and with rehab there’s what’s scheduled, that minimum/recommended work, but then there’s the work that people who are obsessed with it do. Is he obsessed with hoops

All that is irrelevant if the man has arthritis or anything close to it in his knee

The people who use that “he’s rich” line miss the whole point. And it’s also the reason why those people are not rich themselves. They can’t relate to somebody being pained by something like this because they’ve never invested their all into anything to know how it feels to sacrifice everything for something and it not work out.

That’s what Lonzo is going through. He dedicated his whole life to something, and is having it taken away before he can see the fruits of it, not through his own fault or him being lazy or anything, just his body breaking down. Average people can’t relate to that, because they’re lazy, so they fall back on he has money so he’ll be okay.

Wtf are you talking about “taken away before he can see the fruits”? He will have made $112 million career earnings by the time this contracts runs out. About double the money he should’ve made.

This is an example of someone who just doesn’t get it

Honestly, Roy should have been red flagged from the jump as he had surgery on both of his knees before making it to the NBA, so his outcome was always going to happen. He more than likely wouldn't have drafted today as high as he was for that very reason.
That was actually the reason he fell as far as he did. He was thought of as one of the best players and possible top pick but that he would be looking at a really short career.
