BTW Ball is a great defender and his lack of shots at the rim is by design. Also think the "he can't go right" stuff is overblown.

Ball and Fultz are both great. They are both offensive anchors in my mind but need different types of players surrounding them to excel in that role.
would u agree that media bullshyt aside Ball still fits LAL's current roster more

Roster was ass and Matta is not that good of a coach.

OSU had a good 7 players better than anyone not named Fultz on that UW roster.

I think LA needs to overhaul their roster to make either player work but Ball adds more dimensions to that roster than Fultz given DLo and Ingram's presences.

Ball might be able to lead a team better, but on no planet is Ball a better player than Fultz.

1. Fultz
2. Monk
3. Lonzo

Lonzo has two major weaknesses which are the shot motion (difficult to get off in tight man defense not going left) and the guy can't get cover a PNR to save his life. Curry also is pretty bad at the PNR defensively so no doubt coaches will find ways to hide Lonzo on defense but that shot motion has to be sped up.

I also weigh how guys look when judging how great of a player they will be. All the greats regardless of the sport have the same look in their eyes. You can usually see their competitive fire and confidence.

In addition to how ordinary he looks on tape, Markelle Fultz also lacks the look of a great NBA player.

Just look at his eyes. nikka has an empty vacant look to him. Like he's completely disinterested in whatever is going on. With the greats, you can typically see the competitive fire and supreme confidence in the eyes.

i

Compare what you see in Fultz's eyes to what you see in Lonzo. This dude just looks like a future SUPERSTAR. You can see the supreme confidence and competitive fire in his eyes.

First of all, defensive win shares is a terrible stat for judging basketball. Second, UCLA had one of the worst defenses in the entire NATION this year, so you're telling me he led UCLA in defensive win shares and stuff as if anyone should be impressed that he was a slightly better defender than bums like Bryce Alford. The whole backcourt was trash defensively, Lonzo included.

1. Fultz
2. Monk

:russ: at this terrible analysis

Y'all shoulda listened to me when I said Fultz was a bust.

You nikkas keep falling for media manipulation.

They taking you down the same road with Luka Doncic this year.
