My first post clearly emphasizes that his phenomenon is common in the WESTERN WORLD (last time I checked Canada is included when people talk about industrialized Western countries). But the reason why I expound on the US is because I have lived all of my life in the US therefore i can't speak on Canada because I have never been or lived in Canada or the UK for that matter.

Nobody is trying to be slick. Pointing out that colorism is also deeply entrenched in the Black community in the US isn't saying that it ONLY exists in America but rather saying it's a global phenomenon. But keep up the personal attacks

"That's like the overwhelming majority of Black men in the Western world. Let's stop isolating the UK please. Dudes in NYC are fascinated with Dominicans and Puerto Ricans Dudes down south are fascinated with "redbones". It's sad to say but non ethnically/racially ambiguous Black women have to exceed standards to be considered desirable. Seen plenty of average and below average light skinned women getting plenty of attention just because of their skin color.

Colorism isn't only a UK thing. Same can be applied in the US."
