Why are Eastern European boxers so technically sound now a days...Not to say American or UK boxers arn't, but on a general average EE boxers (plus Cuban) boxers essentially Post-Soviet boxers seem to have greater fundamentals

It's always been like that though, nothing changed. Only thing new is that these technically sound fighters are starting to see the value of going pro and making a name for themselves in American soil. Previously these guys were only making a buss in amateur circles, win olympics then fall off the face of the earth. Now they are being pushed to turn pro instead of being family men after the amateurs. This is why we have Loma who turned pro in his late 20s, its not been a popular thing for eastern europeans to turn pro. Same with Cubans.
In conclusion: The more of them turn pro, the higher the level of skill we will get to see in the pro rankings.

Nah breh, Lopez is WAAAAYYYY more skilled than AxeMan. More athletic, better movement, better counterpuncher and more one punch power. I got Loma but Lopez is gonna be his hardest fight outside of Salido imo
