This should be a good one and we actually get to see it for free. I wish more marquee matchups were made that weren't automatically pushed to PPV. I think Loma will win but Lopez will give him a good run for him money.

Salute to Teofimo Lopez. He could have just kept on continuing his KO Highlight Reel for another a couple years against guys not on his level....but there’s a good chance he’s about to lose his Zero to a Top 3 P4P fighter. I’m pulling for him and hope he can get this upset though.

I mean no one expected him to spark Commey the way he did but obviously He’s not on Loma’s level. Loma hasn’t looked as dominant at 135, like he has at 126 or 130 and we don’t know if he can fight off the back foot all fight but there’s a reason why he’s the overwhelming favorite. Either way , the young Kid is taking on a challenge and daring to be great. I’m pulling for him and even if he were to lose, Lopez strikes me as the type to take this as a learning experience and get better from this.. at least I hope that’s the case.

Lopez has been on his neck for damn near 4 years. It would be different if he was on some Broner type preparation/training, but Teo is as dedicated as they come, he lives the boxing shyt all day, every day.
If ever there is a time that shyt can flip for Loma its right now too, inactivity, slightly wrong weight class for him etc.
I wonder what Nakatani's boxrec page says he's suspended indefinitely by the maryland boxing commission. Combing through twitter, it also seems that Nakatani retired after his fight with Teofimo? An article I read in spanish mentioned that he promised himself that he would retire after his first loss. That's a shame if so.

Teofimo hand-eye coordination, reflexes, and speed are elite. He pinpoint accurate with power too. That young boy a problem. Still don't know if he can beat Loma though. Muhfukkas hate on Loma but I never seen a fighter make other top or elite fighters quit back to back to back like that.
