It was the first game, the hall of fame game at that so I admittedly was not paying attention like it was a Giants game, I stated that already....I think once we have a larger sample size, we can start to analyze and worry about it

Yep, give it some time.

No need to make up fantasy scenarios, if the officiating is bad we will notice, people are watching for it right now.

Now I'm making exaggerated scenarios, and not pointing out the possibilities of failed refs effecting the game?

:what:

Just because you FEEL like dismissing what I'm saying doesn't mean that it should be outright ignored.

when the last time you saw a game let alone a preseason game with that little amount of penalties. those refs didn't know what they were doing

You're clearly making something up. t hasn't happened, so what would you call it?

Wait for the pre-season games this weekend and point out what's wrong then we can discuss it. I don't see the point in you creating a scenario where a ref would be inept.

I`m not even saying that the scenario you created couldn't happen, it could, but it could also happen with the regular refs too. I just don't see the point in trying to make an example of something that hasn't happened.

I call it planning for all scenarios, which is what coaches do every week when they prepare for games that.....hasn't happened.

It's something that as a COACH, you'd have to prepare for and draw up as possibly happen.

Take your fan glasses off.

The regular refs suck too though. They throw way too many flags and bog the game down to a snails pace. :manny:
football isnt bball tho...there is far less grey area. you throw as many flags as needed to account for all the penalties :manny: the "pace" of game isnt relevant at all.

I feel a lot of them think they become the star of the show, Mike Carey & Hocchil are infamous for this.

Mike Carey will take 3 minutes to describe the exact intricate detials of an over-turned replay, with the most dramatic of hand gestures.

To be honest I probably won't notice the difference between the regular refs and the replacements.. in football there are times where the penalty is blatant and right in front of your face and then there are the flags you can't see the until the replay is shown.. and then with a lot of penalties you say to yourself, "did they really have to call that?"

These niqqas are talking from a viewing pleasure perspective.

You're arguing a football perspective.

Cats are ignoring that refs temper things from happening on the field as well.

I'm not a coach? :ohhh:

Remind me to tell your dumb ass that you're not a player when talking about the 49ers can beat the next team, fukking retard.

:russ:

So if a player gets hurt based on non-calls and teams taking advantage of it, you think its smart to WAIT until it happens to discuss it rather than doing so pre emptively?

:russ:

You will go to all ends of the earth to dismiss my points. My points are valid.

You go into football games looking at all possibilities.

Refs temper things from happening on the field as well.

If these coaches know they can get away with something because the ref may not call it, it possibly puts players in danger.

You telling me to ignore that possibility and wait for it to happen.

I know this.. Calling a game is more clear cut in other sports.

But you hear things from time to time in football like "the refs could actually call holding on every play if they had to". I don't like hearing shyt like that. Refs in football are loathed and detested. They can literally ruin a football game. You don't even have to complete a catch, a ref can call pass interference and put a team on the one yard line. I'm not even a big fan of the pro refs of the NFL. Its a side job for them anyways. They're lawyers, judges, etc. Monday - Saturday. Of course these replacements will make some mistakes. That's a given. Will it be any worse than the mistakes the pro refs make? I don't think so but it is a possibility
