Since when did we start going by last 3 fights? Besides, Manny is about to fight again. If he fights and wins, he will be 2-1 in his "last 3 fights", what will be Floyd's excuse then?:patrice:

"Needs to avenge his losses?" Why is Khan an option or Ortiz was an option or Cotto or Mosley or JMM or ODLH or Judah or etc?

"Last 3 fights?" Manny is about to be 2-1 in his last 3 fights very soon....just like Khan

"What does he bring to the table" Manny is a PPV fighter. He brings more money to the table than any fighter Floyd has ever fought.....even ODLH

There is no way someone can be comfortable with Floyd fighting Amir Khan, Victor Ortiz, and Robert Guerrero, but NOT fighting Manny Pacquiao:snoop:

You sound like a fan of "boxers" as opposed to "boxing". Why wouldn't I be comfortable with Floyd fighting new blood and future faces of the sport? Outside of SRL round robin with Hagler, Duran, and Hearns who did he fight? Should boxing fans be comfortable with Davey Boy Green, Larry Bonds, Ayub Kalule, Bruce Finch, Kevin Howard, or Donny Lalonde? Get over yourself. The Arum propaganda has worked and that's where the props stop. This is called PRIZE FIGHTING! I don't understand why people get so worked up that business sometimes get in the way of fights happening. And quit talking as if Pac WILL win his next fight...the truth remains that he's 1-2 in his last 3 fights. His whole mystique was centered around beating Floyd and once JMM dropped him, most of his fanbase vanished as evident in his last PPV numbers. Half his fans are people who just want to see Floyd lose, not necessarily people who think Pac is a better fighter than Floyd. Like I said, Floyd legacy is set and people acting like he somehow has an incomplete legacy cause he didn't fight the guy ARUM said was his legacy maker is stupid. He's on his award tour! He's damn near 40 and he's cashing out. Pay attention to what he's doing. I doubt another black dude ever get a chance to fight Floyd. He's fighting guys with built in nationalistic rooting interests. Cotto and PR, Guerrero and Ortiz with Mexico, and apparently Khan and England. If he feels like it's better business for him to steer the promotional angle of fights, the under card, the salaries, etc and not have to give another promotional company a slice (Arum) regardless of how big or small it is...so be it. He's earned the right to do that. He wasn't always A-side. People forget that when Oscar was A-side, when he said jump, you said how high. And Floyd did what Oscar said too. Now all of a sudden, when Floyd is A-side it's a crime to offer $40 million flat. It's a crime to say we're fighting on this date. He's a coward if he say I'm not doing business with Arum (even though that's how he got his money fight and how Cotto got him). The rules haven't changed. It's just a new face and y'all have gotten real comfortable intimating that a guy who has fought world champions since the 90's somehow is a coward cause he hasn't fought Arum's golden goose. I wonder if you held the same disregard for Pac when he intially backed outta the Hatton fight of a few M's??? Every A-side fighter throughout history writes the rules.

floyd's legacy is set? so im sure 10-15-20 years after floyd stops fighting no one will bring up the other name fighter who fought in the same division and era as him and ask him why he didnt fight him (if he doesnt fight him)...or even better im sure ppl can bring up all these legacy defining fight(s) he's had in the last 10 years..some of you floyd stans are absolutely delusional at times lol

and lol at nationalistic rooting interests as a reasoning why floyd fought guerrero and ortiz and possibly fighting khan..fukk outta here...guerrero is not a popular boxer period..not among mexicans or anyone who watches boxing..hell he's barely known

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
im sure its not as simple as just "Making The Fight", i was just talkin shxt. Back then when floyd offered manny the 40 mil, manny was on top of his game, he wasnt finna take those 40 mil and get NONE of the PPV when he was also a big star too, so i can see his reason for declining that offer back then. Now is a diff story and i wouldnt expect manny to get close to that piece of the pie with his last PPV #'s. When i say ,Make the fight floyd, i mean sit down and realisticaly discuss this and do some honest negotiations this time around to get it done...enough with the excuses. Whatever it takes to get it done, both camps should put their best effort and make it happen somehow. AS far as the split goes, i think 65/35 would be pretty fair based on the last few PPV #s, 55/45 is out of the question tho

Floyd wants 100/0 of the ppv revenue split and has refused to budge on it since 2011... this was before the last 2 marquez fights and the Bradley fights...

On top of this he refuses to do any business with Bob Arum like a fukk nikka act like Bob Arum fukked his girl or something.. So for the fight to happen Pac has to bend over abandoning TR and signing to Mayweather promotions(straight from Floyds lips)... oh and this is all after he avenges his loss from Bradley and PeePee Man(who he both already beat)

Floyd has already declared he's unwilling to co promote and can be the only one who can make a back end profit from ppv sales on any fight card... but lets give Floyd a pass because hes Floyd.... Every other fighter should just deal with it

You never heard of Wilfred Benitez?:birdman:

And then to DISREGARD and try and belittle/downplay the fact that 7 of of SRL's 40 fights came against HOFers, in their primes at that, and ended up 5-1-1 against them, to just a "round robin" is nonsense.

There wasnt any Round Robins back then. Back then, the best would fight the best, which is why SRL fought them.

How many prime HOF fighters have Floyd fought in 45 fights? Only one......Arturo Gatti. And everyone knows Gatti really isnt HOF talent at that:bryan:

ODLH wasnt in his prime when Floyd fought him, Cotto wasnt, and neither was Mosley:snoop:

The rest of your post, I didnt even pay attention to, because I dont entertain casuals who will spout things like this in order to big up Floyd and downplay legit ATGs of the Sweet Science:ufdup:

You sure?? Cause SRL stalled Hagler out for years, fought Hearns 8 years apart, and his last fight with Duran was 8 years after their first two. So your "in their primes" theory is shot. I'm not downplaying ATG to big up Floyd, just giving you context. Just because YOU don't think somebody is worthy other than Pac, doesn't mean they aren't. Over 2 million people thought the Canelo fight was worth a damn. Why knock his resume while his career is still going? I'm sure by the end of his career he'll have Genero, Diego, Gatti, Castillo, ODLH, Shane, JMM, and a couple of these young pups he's giving a chance to eat might grace the HOF. You're being unreasonable in your assessment. And to clown Floyd for his resume....the same guy you proclaim as the fight he NEEDS to fight has the same names (all after Floyd too) on his resume...(even got a KO loss to one I might add)....so if Floyd gets the "Snoop" picture, what in the world does Emmanuel get?

you say prize fighting yet you mention legacy as well..you know those 2 dont go hand in hand..a legacy in boxing isnt based on how much they've made in the ring lol
