Once that train got derailed by Mosley, Bob "promoted" Manny as Floyd's legacy defining fight. It's funny that the same guys that Floyd beat "don't mean nothing unless he fight Manny" are the same names that define Manny's legacy. Anybody with a grain of boxing knowledge can see Manny isn't on Floyd level (you would think after square dancing with JMM for damn near half a dozen times with no for real seperation would make it clear). seee most floyd fans or pacman fans, ONLY watch boxing because of them, they dont really check for the other fighters. I just like boxing period.as much as i like Floyd, i cant keep co-signing these excuses. i dont care about mannys money issues, the fact remains he wants to fight next year. if manny wins his next fight in april and floyd wins May 3rd, then this fight needs to happen. The excuses are old, and if they are never fighting then the lame photoshops and other bullshxt should stop. i just wanna see them boys fight...my nikkas who hardly ever watch boxing think manny would get wit floyd....i keep tellin em it will be an easy W for floyd...but floyd makin a nikka look bad by not takin the fight . yea , i aint like these other STANS that just like floyd and manny. i like boxing in general. I am a floyd fan, but im real enough to admit that im tired of the excuses. im sure its not as simple as just "Making The Fight", i was just talkin shxt. Back then when floyd offered manny the 40 mil, manny was on top of his game, he wasnt finna take those 40 mil and get NONE of the PPV when he was also a big star too, so i can see his reason for declining that offer back then. Now is a diff story and i wouldnt expect manny to get close to that piece of the pie with his last PPV #'s. When i say ,Make the fight floyd, i mean sit down and realisticaly discuss this and do some honest negotiations this time around to get it done...enough with the excuses. Whatever it takes to get it done, both camps should put their best effort and make it happen somehow. AS far as the split goes, i think 65/35 would be pretty fair based on the last few PPV #s, 55/45 is out of the question tho
