I said late 20s/30s......YOU ASSUMED I was talking about guys who were 37, 38, 39 years old because that's the agenda you wanted to push :stringerwire: You wanted to push the image of an old flabby 38 year old guy dating college chicks, when I was thinking more like guys who were 30, 31, 32.....otherwise I wouldn't have grouped them with the late 20s dudes :stringerwire:
No I didn't assume anything. I specifically said that most 21 year old women are not going to date men 10 years older than them (a point supported by that 7.5% listed in that pie chart). I never said anything about late 30s.
Your original post didn't say a damn thing about late 20s. It said 21-24 which most would classify as early 20s.
Again, my original quote to you:
I wouldn't say girls don't like older guys, but you are fooling yourself if you think that the average 22 year old is trying to date someone 10 years older. Your freshman/upperclass example is EXACTLY the point that I was making earlier: women date older but typically guys who are still in their age range.
When I was 22, I liked 24-25 year old men. When I was 25, I like 26-30. Now that I'm 28, I go for 28-32 year old guys. My preference was older, but this is still within my age range.
Some of you guys act like we haven't been 21 or 22 before. Most of us were not checking for cat daddies 10 years our senior. When I decided to date one guy way older than me (I was 23 he was 32), all my friends were like
People like to talk in extremes on the coli. Generally speaking women date within a 2-4 year age range. Then you have outliers who love men 10/20 years their senior. Let's not pretend that this isn't true.
In case you can't do the arithmetic, 10 years older than 21 is 31 and 10 years older than 22 is 32 .
