Since you didn't mention those numbers understand close to 35% of women prefer MARRYING a man with an age gap larger than 7 years (so those 22 year olds want a 29 year old or older), we are talking about marrying, implying that the number is higher for dating since its less committal

There is nothing more valuable about understanding the opposite sex from the horses mouth.

First, 35% is far from the majority (also you can't extrapolate that data for dating).
Second, yall don't seem to value women's opinions about women so why should you guys expect the same?
Third, do you mind provided a source for your stat? It's not that I don't believe you, it's just a pet peeve of mine that people cite sources if they are going to talk stats.

i agree that if she wants a serious partner she should get one by 35. just saying they shouldn't be pressured to get married by a early age if they don't truly want to or aren't really ready for it. Too many chicks are getting married just to say their married these days.
I understand what you are saying but the truth is women need to think about their life (relationship wise) in their early twenties, not saying they need to be married by then but they need to truly understand what they want, the prime for women and men differ, women need to take advantage of theirs.

1/3 women prefer a guy who is 7 years older or more, not a majority, but 1/3 is pretty high, 70% prefer 3-6 years. I don't know why it seems so hard to understand women prefer older men

33% of women wanted a guy up to seven years older than them, while only one out of a hundred women preferred a younger man.

So the above quote suggest that 1/3 of women want a man UP TO 7 years not that 1/3 of women want a man 7 years older. Up to means anywhere between one month older to 7 years. These studies/reports don't support what you wrote in your original quote.

I don't think anyone has said that women don't prefer older men. I've always maintained that the majority of women want a man within 4 years of their age (which this study seems to support). However, this study does not support what you wrote. UP TO means that 7 years is the max but that women also listed age differences smaller than seven years (meaning that the ages could have ranged from one month to 7 years with a 7 year difference being the max).

That is what up to means. There's really no arguing that :yeshrug:

The video is wrong, idiot. Look at the site which conducted the study. Most Women want a dude NO MORE than 7 years and that's an extreme.
Ok so the video is wrong, the lady reading the report is wrong but the article is right (no mistakes in editing happen), ok, let's look at some math, so 70% of women prefer a man 3-6 years but because of that 7th year it drops down to 33%, but to say 33% prefer a man 7 years or older makes no sense, ok, have a good day

The video says 7 years or more, which makes more sense, its 70% for 3-6 years, its not dropping to 33% because of the seventh year, the editor missed that one. The video is right.

Do you mind quoting the sentence in these articles that say 7 years or older because I've been looking and I can't find it?

I keep seeing "up to 7 years" (in all of the linked reports).

Oh...you are using the video. All of the written reports say up to.
